Tanoak Ladle ~ Soup Ladle ~ Sauce Ladle ~ Hand Crafted

This piece is surprisingly light for Oak wood. Carved from part of a branch that naturally grew in the shape of the ladle. Because of its unusual growth patter it has these beautiful swirls in the grain. Chris sanded this so very smooth, revealing a shimmer in the grains of this unusual piece. A one-of-a-kind for certain. This piece was possible because of the natural uncommon growth of this tree. The wood is deceptively light and could pass as a curly maple, but it's not. 

Naturally balanced, this ladle will rest on its heal and handle keeping the spoon off the surface. Display it and use it!
