The natural rings in this spoon make beautiful swirls and different colors as is natural for the special tree of our area. Some parts of the tree are darker in color and some lighter. The magic of nature! This was carved from sustainably sourced wood.
This tree lived to a ripe old age and fell naturally on her own during a storm. We harvested and dried the wood, preparing it for carving. This is one of the beauties that came from this tree. A one-of-a-kind piece of function art for your kitchen and home.

We've finished this piece with our bees wax and food grade mineral oil wood conditioner for a longer life.
