How to Brew the Perfect Cup of Tea

Step-by-Step Guide for Brewing the Right Cup

Water

Bring your water to a rolling boil, preferably use filtered or clean well water, remove from heat.

Portioning Loose Leaf Tea

Choose your portions depending on the level of strength you like your brew.

Per 8oz mug brew 1-2 tsp (1 tea bag) for a mild to medium strength cup. For a stronger brew use 2-3 tsp (2 tea bags) or more as desired.

Steeping Times

Pour recently boiled water over loose leaf tea or tea bag & let steep.

Black Tea: 3-5 minutes

Green Tea: 3-4 minutes

Herbal Tea: 5-10 minutes (When the tea has Chamomile we recommend the shorter steep as it can become bitter)
